Born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts, Jer Gervasi always wanted to be a musician and a songwriter. Originally a drummer, he bought a 4-track recorder and began recording demos.

After singing and playing guitar for Felony, Danny's Idols, Sack Of Hammers, and a few others, he devoted his full efforts to a career in the industry, behind the scenes, working with manufacturers and retailers on innovative products to help musicians and creators realize their potential, relocating to New York City, then Las Vegas.

In 2018 he rejoined his former Felony bandmates, guitarist John Meehan and drummer Steve Meehan, to form A Reason For Mondays, using the Internet to collaborate on a new series of original songs.

As a prolific songwriter who counts Prince and Aldo Nova as early heroes for their self-recorded, self-produced music, it only made sense to stay as productive as possible and begin writing, recording, and releasing  solo material, beginning with "Cruel" in October 2026.
